About Me and My Medical Interpreting

Hi, I am Orville Fitz-Henley.  I deliver accurate interpretation for doctors and their patients by bridging the language barrier.  Interpretation is the transfer of messages in one spoken/signed language to another spoken or signed language.  As a Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI - Spanish), the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (NBCMI) has deemed me qualified to interpret at the highest medical levels.  

In addition to extensive experience in the specialties of orthopedics and cognitive behavioral therapy, I've worked with the following professionals: 

• QME (Qualified Medical Evaluators) and

• AME (Agreed Medical Evaluators). 

Based in San Diego, California, I offer professional in-person or remote interpretations.  

Your questions to the patient show your concern and my accuracy conveys your concern for them in Spanish.  

When I'm not interpreting, you can find me:

•  creating fun outdoor workouts with my friends, 

• teaching English or Spanish class online or in person, 

• or cooking!
